A larme makeup tutorial from the magazine |
Right now my daily makeup routine is very Larme-kei inspired, high placed blush, light straight brows, gradient glossy lips. That's what I've been doing more or less every day since June, even to work.

I know that doesn't seem very wearable in a day to day sense does it? And yet that's what I wear and honestly, I've gotten more compliments that I anticipated from a wider crowd of people than I would have assumed. Of course I've gotten a few odd looks, and a handful of coworkers have asked why I wear my blush where I do but still I've gotten such good results from it.

Since I just work in a department store I can't really wear Larme in my day to day life, even if I would love to, I figured why not at least wear the makeup? And I can probably get away with wearing some pieces that I get as long as they are black (good old relaxed dress code)

Either way, what do you do to incorporate your fashion sense into your work environment? Do you have a job with a dress code as well? Have a job where you can wear full coords? Or do you just leave your own fashion sense expression for off the clock time? Also any suggestions for pieces that work with Larme that I could wear to work or ways to improve my makeup as well?
